Here at MPUK, we do things a little different and very old-school. All of items that are created are made using both a manual milling machine and lathe. Nothing that we make is made by CNC machines or sent away for cutting. Everything is made by imagination, paper drawings and time. As such, each puzzle is in fact unique to itself

Not many people would believe it. But I actually don't have any training whatsoever when it comes to using/making/creating puzzles on lathes, mills etc.

My dad is a tool maker by trade, and I've always had a fasination with making things. Just prior to 2020, we deicided to bring back the lathe, surface grinder and pillar drill back from my parents factory. Orginally they were my Grand-dad's in circa 1970.

When I was young, they were at my parents house for several years and I had made all different types of things from a small wooden base ball bat to a magic trick that we had seen at Disney.

During 2020 when we had nothing to do; I fancied having a go at making a puzzle or two out of scrap bits of steel for the family to have a play with.

Not so long after, I decided to sell a few - not expecting any orders at all. Low and behold my first puzzles went out not so long after.

At the time, I never knew that there was this new world of 'puzzling'. Yet, I myself have fallen into the trap accumulating my own collection along with making new puzzles that interest me.
